The New Müller Yogurt TV ad was aired last Saturday (8.10.2011) during the ITV show X Factor (in case you wanted to know). The 90 second ad directed by Antoine Bardou-Jacquet with production company Partizan Lab (who also brought us the fantastic animated Nationwide ad), depicts children’s show stars, such as KITT (the 1982 Pontiac Trans Am, from the 80’s TV series Knight Rider), Yogi Bear, The Mr. Men and (wheezy snigger) Muttley the dog!
The ad is brought to our screens by agency TBWALondon who also made us chuckle with the John Smith’s ad campaign staring Peter Kay (John Smith’s – Diner, John Smith’s – Dog Show), not to mention more somber campaigns, such as the Pedigree – Ghost Dog, highlighting the issue of abandoned dogs in the UK with the use of interactive CGI.
The making of Müller Wünderful Stuff
And to add to all that fun, Müller have given us “the making of”. Its fantastic to see the traditional techniques of animation are alive and kicking along side the CGI. This is a refreshing insight in to the work and efforts applied by the creative team… enjoy.
